Lions teammate Leah Jones was selected as the league's Freshman of the Year. Shaviante Cobb was voted the Defensive Player of the Year. Keitha Dickerson was named the DAC Coach of the Year.

Sherrod, Cobb and Jones also earned First Team All-DAC honors, while Kimberly Cohen was named to the Second Team. Laela Harris, Asia Smith and Tokina Nagai received honorable mention all-conference honors.

A freshman forward from Keller, Texas, Cohen averaged 8.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game, while shooting 44.6 percent from the field. She scored in double figures in eight games, including the last five. She had seven double-doubles, including the last five, and grabbed a season-high 19 boards at Dallas College Cedar Valley Jan. 26.

A freshman guard from Mansfield, Texas, Harris averaged 7.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. She scored in double figures in five games, including three in a row. Harris scored a season-best 17 points at Cedar Valley, and recorded a double-double in the final regular season game.

A freshman guard from Waco, Smith averaged 5.1 points and 4.6 rebounds, while shooting 32 percent from 3-point range. She scored in double figures four times. Smith scored a season-high 24 points, going 9 of 11 from the floor and 6 of 7 from three-point range against Dallas College Richland Feb. 6.

A freshman guard from Ehime, Japan, Nagai averaged 3.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.2 steals per game. She scored 17 points in her first college game. She had a season-high 11 rebounds and five steals a week later, while dishing out a season-high seven assists two days later at NJCAA Division I Western Oklahoma State College.

Dickerson guided the Lions to a 12-7 overall, 3-1 Dallas Athletic Conference record, winning the NJCAA Division III South Central District and Region V titles. She guided Mountain View to the national tournament for the first time in program history. Her team's 12 wins matched the most in program history, equaling the victory total of her 2019-20 squad.
