Rodriguez Named NJCAA First Team All-Academic

Dallas College Mountain View men's soccer player Leonardo Rodriguez earned National Junior College Athletic Association First Team All-Academic honors.

Lions teammate William Todd earned Second Team All-Academic honors. Women's basketball player Tokina Nagai was a Second Team All-Academic recipient.

Volleyball player JaQuelle Felton earned Third Team All-Academic honors.

In order to qualify for NJCAA All-Academic honors, a student-athlete has to complete at least 24 credit hours during the academic year, and post at least a 3.6 grade point average. Student-athletes who graduate in December may qualify with less credits.

Any student-athlete who meets the criteria, and posts a 4.0 GPA for the year earns First Team All-Academic honors. Student-athletes who earn a GPA between 3.8-3.99 receive Second Team honors, while those who earn a 3.60-3.79 are named to the All-Academic Third Team.
