Casteneda, Winters Receive All-DAC Honors
Dallas College Mountain View baseball player Anthony Casteneda earned First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference honors.
Lions teammate Anthony Winters was a Second Team All-DAC selection.
A sophomore catcher from Cedar Hill, Texas, Casteneda batted .360 with eight doubles, three home runs, 25 runs batted in, 19 runs scored and two stolen bases in 30 games. He had a season-high four hits in two games.
A freshman outfielder from Dallas, Winters hit .318 with 11 doubles, four triples, four home runs, 28 RBI, 26 stolen bases and 39 runs scored. His four triples were tied for 36th among National Junior College Athletic Association Division III leaders, and his 26 stolen bases were tied for 32nd. Winters had a season-high four hits at Dallas College North Lake March 25.
