Scott Collects DAC Player of Week Honor

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Mountain View baseball's Cooper Scott has been selected as the Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

A sophomore first baseman from Austin, Texas, Scott batted .400 with two home runs, eight runs batted in, four runs scored and three walks as the Lions went 2-3. He had two hits, and drove in three runs in an 11-1 win over Dallas Christian College. He homered and drove in four in a 13-3 victory over the Crusaders, while collecting a hit each of the other three games during the week.

Scott extended his hitting streak to nine games.

Mountain View (4-7) will play at Hill College Tuesday before hosting Galveston College Friday and Saturday.
