Bates First Team All-DAC, Willis Second Team
DALLAS – Dallas College Mountain View baseball's Asher Bates was named First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference.
Lions teammate Greg Willis was voted to the second team.
A freshman second baseman from Spring, Texas, Bates hit .386 with 13 doubles, a triple, seven home runs, 37 runs batted in and 17 stolen bases. He had 25 multi-hit games, including eight when he collected three hits.
A sophomore first baseman from Pineville, Louisiana, Willis hit .380 with nine doubles, two triples, four home runs, 33 RBI and eight stolen bases. He had 24 multi-hit games, including four at Hill College and at Dallas College Eastfield.
