Dallas College Mountain View men's basketball team began the new year with a 117-62 win Wedneday night over Dallas Fort Worth Prep. 

The Lions opened up the lead early in the game, and never looked back. The Lions (14-4) got good balance throughout the lineup as six players scored in double digits. Terry Moss III and Gabe Acay led Mountain View with 20 points apiece. Justice Marmara finished with a triple double, scoring 17 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 11 assists. Jaden Clark had 14 points, Farai Mandhlazi 13 and Darion Ramos 12.

The win over DFW Prep was a primer for the Lions' Dallas Athletic Conference opener 1 p.m. Saturday at National Junior College Athletic Association Division III No. 3-ranked Dallas College North Lake.
