Mountain View Wins Fourth Straight, Tops 100 Again

DALLAS – Dallas College Mountain View's men's basketball team won its fourth straight game Monday, pounding Southwestern Adventist University, 103-68.

The Lions (8-6) improved to 6-2 at home.

Doviyon Bradford scored 37 points on 17 of 22 shooting, had seven steals, four rebounds and a block, and Joshua Smith had 22 points on 9 of 11 shooting, 18 rebounds and seven blocks for the Lions, who connected on 55.7 percent of their field goals. Cam Spencer finished with 14 points, 14 rebounds and four assists, and Xavier Peyton had 10 points to put four Mountain View players in double figures.

Louis Conner finished with 12 assists.

The Lions, who put up over 100 points in each outing of the current four-game win streak, outscored the Knights (2-6) by 26 points in the second half after building a nine-point halftime lead.

Mountain View will play at Collin County Community College 7 p.m. Wednesday before finishing up final exams week with a road game at Dallas Christian College in a matchup with its prospect team 7 p.m. Friday.
