Bradford Selected as Final DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Mountain View's Doviyon Bradford was selected as the final Dallas Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

A 6-foot-2 freshman guard from Dallas, Bradford averaged 18.5 points, eight rebounds, six assists and 4.5 steals per game, while shooting 62.1 percent from the floor as the Lions won both league games last week. In an 85-71 win at Dallas College Brookhaven, Bradford had 23 points on 11 of 17 shooting, seven rebounds, four steals, three assists and a block. He had 14 points, nine boards, nine assists and five steals, and shot 7 of 11 from the floor in a 90-78 win over Dallas College Cedar Valley to end the regular season.

Bradford is averaging 17.2 points, 5.3 rebounds 3.9 assists and three steals per game.

Mountain View (15-14) meets Brookhaven (14-14) in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District quarterfinals 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dallas College Eastfield.
