Mountain View Returns to Action Monday

MOUNTAIN VIEW MEN's BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

DALLAS – Dallas College Mountain View men's basketball team returns to the court Monday and Tuesday when the Lions host Concordia University Junior Varsity and Nelson University Junior Varsity in the final nonconference games of the season.

The Lions (7-11) are coming off back-to-back wins, which moved them into third place in the Dallas Athletic Conference prior to the holiday break. Three DAC schools are tied with 2-3 league marks after the first of three rounds of conference play. It is the first year the league will host three rounds of conference games.

Ashton Price leads Mountain View in scoring (25.2 points per game), while shooting 50 percent from the field and 71 percent from the free throw line, and grabbing 6.8 rebounds per game. Augustine Chibuko is scoring 12.6 points, and pulling down 7.8 boards and blocking 1.2 shots per game. Jeremiah Talib is good for 10.5 points and a 49.6 percent shooting norm. Louis Conner averages 8.2 points and 6.7 assists per game.

The Lions are set to resume DAC action next Saturday at Dallas College Eastfield.
