Alex Akrawi was named assistant men's soccer coach at Dallas College Mountain View in 2022.

In 2024, the Lions adanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South District championship before falling to No. 1 nationally-ranked Dallas College Richland 3-1. The Lions beat Dallas College Cedar Valley 3-2 in overtime in the semifinals. Mountain View went 4-11-3 overall, 1-2-2 in the Dallas Athletic Conference. Nathaniel Velasquez was named an NJCAA Division III Second Team All-American.

In 2023, Mountain View went 1-7-4. The Lions posted a shutout over Dallas Christian College.

In his first year with the program in 2022, Akrawki coached on a team that went 2-8-0. Mountain View picked up a 2-1 win at McMurry University Junior Varsity. The Lions also shut out Rose State College.
