Volleyball Releases 2024 Schedule
DALLAS – Dallas College Mountain View's volleyball team will open the season at the Western Texas College Fall Classic Aug. 23-24 in Snyder, Texas. The Lions will play Blinn College, Clarendon College, Southwestern Christian College and Western Texas College during the two-day tournament.
Mountain View hosts Ranger College Aug. 27 in the home opener before venturing off to the Ranger/Wrangler Classic Aug. 30-31 at Cisco College and Ranger College. The Lions play at Southwestern Assemblies of God University Junior Varsity Sept. 3 before returning home the next day to host Arlington Baptist University. The Lions host the Mountain View Tri-Match Sept. 6 against Dallas Christian College and Seminole State College.
Mountain View will begin a five-match road trip when it plays at Clarendon College Sept. 10. The Lions compete in the Seminole State College Tri-Match Sept. 14. They complete the home-and-home at Arlington Baptist Sept. 17, and finish the road swing three days later at Southwestern Christian College.
The Lions begin Dallas Athletic Conference action Sept. 23 against Dallas College Brookhaven on Pack it Blue Night to open a four-match homestand. They host Southwestern Adventist University the next day before resuming DAC play Sept. 26 against Dallas College North Lake on Faculty/Staff Night. The Lions finish the homestand against Rose State College Sept. 28.
Mountain View plays at defending National Junior College Athletic Association Division III national champion Dallas College Eastfield Sept. 30. The Lions conclude the first round of conference action at home Oct. 7 against Dallas College Cedar Valley on Pink Out Night.
Following a trip to Southwestern Adventist Oct. 8, the Lions begin the second half of DAC play at Brookhaven Oct. 10. They host Eastfield on High School Night Oct. 17. The final regular season home match is scheduled for Oct. 21 against Richland on Sophomore Night. Mountain View wraps up the regular season at Cedar Valley Oct. 24.
The NJCAA Division III South District Tournament runs Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at the site of the DAC regular season champion.
