Bumpas, Pena Named Second Team All-DAC
DALLAS – Dallas College Mountain View volleyball's Nyah Bumpas and Ceciliana Pena were Second Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference selections.
A freshman opposite hitter from Arlington, Texas, Bumpas had 152 kills, 117 digs and 30 blocks. She had a season-high nine kills in a five-set win over Arlington Baptist University and a sweep of Dallas College Cedar Valley when she hit .273. She had eight kills in two matches. Bumpas had a season-high 15 digs in a four-set match with Clarendon College. She had a season-high three blocks in four matches.
A freshman libero from Buda, Texas, Pena led the Lions with 399 digs. and had 38 aces. She had a season-high 25 digs in a four-set match against Rose State College. She had a season-best five aces in a four-set match at Seminole State College. Pena recorded double-digit digs in each of the last 13 matches, and had 20 or more in five. She had four aces in two matches.
